Mine Planning Software

Welcome

What is MineSmart Mine Planning Software?

MineSmart is a fully integrated mine planning module tool designed to assist the mine planner in following an auditable, repeatable and logical process. Its main feature is automating logical processes followed by the user in the creation of 3D designs.

MineSmart is now a part of Gemcom Surpac and is known as the ‘Advanced Underground Design’ module. Click here to view the module page on Gemcom's site.

MineSmart designs to MineSched auto precedence logic and forms a very important link between designs and schedules. It applies MineSched parameters (densities, profiles, priorities) and eventually creates tonnage and grade profiles from the MineSched schedule. It also reports Engineering and Ventilation requirements with the design and schedule.

Why use MineSmart?

With more mining companies entering the resource development market and increased pressure on current players to increase their market share, the need for an auditable strategic planning system increases. MineSmart is an advanced technological tool to automate and document strategic planning for application as ‘best practice’, mining templates, scenario planning or what-if analysis.

MineSmart can be used on any underground mine layout and is designed to guide the mine planner in following a logical and repeatable process. It was developed using our comprehensive experience in the mining industry to optimise the design and reporting processes while delivering accurate results.
