Jaco Lotheringen
Pr Eng Mining Engineering
Prior to joining Ukwazi in 2004, Jaco worked at Lower Quartile Solutions where he was involved in platinum, gold and iron ore projects for BHP Billiton and Lonmin, amongst others. Before this, he fulfilled a corporate technology and mining processes role, focusing on heavy minerals, coal and base metals for opencast and underground mining methods.
Spencer Eckstein
Masters of Law (LLM)
Master’s in Business Administration (MBA)
Before starting at Ukwazi, Spencer was a legal and risk manager for Golder Associates, a Canadian mining and engineering consultancy. Prior to this he worked at Rio Tinto as it legal and commercial manager for Southern and Central Africa. Spencer has extensive experience as a strategy consultant having worked for various management consulting companies such as Manto Management and Letsema Consulting, as well as various BEE investment companies such as Izingwe Capital and Mafika Investments.
Ntokozo Xaba
Degree in Project Management
Ntokozo is currently a director at Ukwazi and also founder and CEO of XET Group, an ICT and engineering solutions and services provider that helps enterprises transform through infrastructure and digitalisation. A skilled software engineer, Ntokozo has just over two decades’ experience in ICT, financial services, and petrochemical organisations. His specialisations comprise enterprise systems management, project management, business process management and networking.
